IBM Learnerships Requirements

There are some requirements that candidates will have to meet to be eligible to apply for a learnership from IBM. Here we have listed some of the basic requirements. • A valid Grade 12 / Matric certificate
• Be a South African ID book / Document
• A Diploma or Degree within the field of application
• Fluency in the English language

• Problem-solving skills and creative out-of-the-box thinking
• Punctuality, accuracy and good communication skills
• Computer skills
• Must be able to function well as part of a team and as an individual
• Passionate about learning and dedicated to the improvement

Candidates who meet all the requirements are urged to apply to their learnership program. Their program offers selected candidates the opportunity to develop and enhance their skills and knowledge.

This program offers successful candidates an opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge allowing them to find appropriate work. Some candidates have received permanent offers from IBM Africa upon completion of their learnership, however, this is not guaranteed.
